Duties:  Challenging position training and supervising developmentally disabled adults on established commercial/residential grounds maintenance contracts. Provide training in proper work methods, through demonstration. Candidates must be committed to highest industrial standards of safety, workmanship and customer service. Trains in all facets of safety equipment operation, maintenance, tools and community safety. Must have ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and make minor repairs. Responsible for related paperwork.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Qualifications: Applicants must possess/maintain a valid California Drivers License, be insurable, and have and maintain a good driving record throughout the course of employment. Prior experience in lawn maintenance preferred. Knowledge of small equipment maintenance/repair and sprinkler operation. Understand and carry out oral/written directions operate passenger van with utility trailer, observing legal and defensive driving practices. High school diploma, or equivalent. Frequent lifting and carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 75 lbs. Non-sedentary. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
Wage: $9.50 per hour.
